Coupons from the Sunday paper

I am left wondering if it is smart for me to use the coupons I could find in my local Sunday paper. Every week I mean to go out and buy one but can I really save the money I would spend in gas, time, and not to mention the $1.75 or so to buy a paper. Then again I have found a few blogs that show what the upcoming weekly sunday paper will have in it. That way if I see more of what I would use one week then I may just go and buy it.  Might want to check it out this sunday to see if it makes sense to buy the local paper this week.

Today is Friday finally and all I see outside the window is rain. Yucky! But I am celebrating a success of sorts. I found a great deal yesterday at Staples. Now a little background first and foremost.
I have signed up to receive the weekly mailing of Staples ad. This way I can look at the great deals they can sometimes have before I even go to the store. I recommend this highly for all stores you normally shop in. Use another e-mail address set up just for that if you don’t want your inbox bombared with stuff. Second I am a Staples reward member. This way I get additional discounts on top of sale prices. Sign up for all store memberships that are free that you can.
The real deal here now. Norton 360 4.0 for up to three computers was originally $79.99 with an instant discount of $10 off. As a rewards member I got an additional $30 in store discount with a $25 rebate.  The total bottom line price was $14.99. Wow I save $65!!!! Now that is an easy frugal find.

I know I get easily amused by the simple stuff but like my profile says I am a frugal finder in training. Share you best deals with me I would love to know.
